The Warehouse Head will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations for the Dhoti and Shirt Garment Division, ensuring smooth receipt, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of goods. The role focuses on efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage overall warehouse operations including fabric, trims, and finished garments.
Plan and control inventory levels; ensure FIFO/FEFO practices.
Coordinate timely dispatches with production, logistics, and merchandising teams.
Supervise warehouse staff and ensure proper handling and storage procedures.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile with system records.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies.
Prepare and present daily/weekly/monthly stock and dispatch reports.
Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce wastage.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate in Supply Chain / Logistics / Business / Textile Management.
5-10 years of experience in garment or textile warehouse operations.
Strong knowledge of
WMS and SAP
or warehouse management systems.
Proven leadership, planning, and team management skills.
