Prepare annual budget
Schedule expenditures and analyze variances Operations and Logistics Management:
Oversee and manage all daily warehouse activities, including inbound receiving, quality checks, put-away, storage, inventory replenishment, order picking, packing, and outbound shipping.
Ensure timely and accurate flow of materials to and from the production lines to prevent downtime and support manufacturing schedules.
Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality.
Safety, Quality, and Compliance:
Champion a world-class safety culture, ensuring all operations strictly comply with GMI standards, environmental regulations, and internal company safety policies.
Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and training sessions to proactively identify and mitigate hazards.
Ensure compliance with all quality and food safety standards (e.g., GMPs, HACCP, FDA regulations), maintaining the integrity of all raw materials and finished products.
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure facility in accordance with 5S principles and other housekeeping standards
Inventory Management and Control:
Maintain exceptional inventory accuracy for all raw materials through robust cycle counting programs, physical inventories, and discrepancy resolution.
Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) & Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to manage inventory levels, track product movement & generate performance reports.
Analyse inventory data to identify trends, minimize slow-moving or obsolete stock, and optimize storage utilization and slotting strategies.
Leadership and Team Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing warehouse team, including supervisors, leads
Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and labour planning to meet operational demands and budget targets.
Champion a positive and collaborative work environment that prioritizes teamwork, accountability, and open communication.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with Production Planning, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Procurement teams to ensure alignment and support overall plant objectives.
