The Master Warehouse role manages daily warehouse activities, ensuring correct stock control, safe storage, and on-time dispatch of medical equipment and devices.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of medical equipment and consumables.
Ensure proper segregation of products (consumables, spares, demo units, and returned goods).
Maintain warehouse layout for efficient space utilization and material flow.
Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/WMS systems.
Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical stock audits.
Monitor stock levels, aging inventory, expiry dates and slow-moving items.
Ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance as applicable.
Ensure adherence to medical device regulations, quality standards and internal SOPs.
Maintain batch/serial number traceability for medical devices.
Ensure proper documentation for inward, outward and returns (GRN, DC, invoices, etc.).
Support internal and external audits.
Coordinate with logistics partners for timely and safe dispatch of equipment.
Ensure proper packing, labeling and handling of sensitive and high-value medical equipment.
Monitor transit damages, shortages and delivery discrepancies.
Supervise warehouse staff.
Assign duties, monitor performance and ensure adherence to safety practices.
Train team members on SOPs, safety and compliance requirements.
Ensure calibration and upkeep of warehouse tools and equipment.
Coordinate with procurement, sales, service, and finance teams.
Prepare and submit MIS reports on inventory, dispatch, aging and discrepancies.
Escalate operational issues and suggest process improvements.
Skills
Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management

Basic MIS reporting and data analysis skills
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management or a related field
3-6 years of experience in warehouse operations (medical devices / healthcare preferred)
Basic computer skill
