Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Warehouse Engineer

to lead and execute warehouse infrastructure projects (RM, PM, FG & TM) in a dynamic industrial environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background in warehouse racking systems including ASRS and Double Deep, demonstrate cross-functional coordination abilities, and ensure timely project execution in alignment with safety, cost, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:Project Management & Coordination

Lead cross-functional coordination with stakeholders through all phases of warehouse project development, from design to handover. Prepare, monitor, and control project timelines to ensure on-time delivery. Ensure project execution aligns with the defined scope, and manage any scope changes through proper documentation and stakeholder approval. Identify and mitigate project risks and bottlenecks; collaborate with electrical, civil, and other engineering teams for smooth execution.

Technical Oversight

Drive racking system installations (ASRS, Double Deep, Manual) including design feedback, OEM coordination, commissioning, and validation (FAT/SAT). Ensure compliance with warehouse layout, accessibility, maintainability, and operability standards. Maintain knowledge of WMS systems, work permit systems (height, lifting, general), and Risk Assessment (RA). Prepare TPM/maintenance documentation for handover to operations and maintenance teams.

Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)

Promote and ensure compliance with SHE standards and Sustainability KPIs across warehouse operations. Design for safety across construction and operational phases. Ensure proper documentation and communication of SHE protocols to all stakeholders.

Training & Handover

Train warehouse operators, maintenance technicians, and engineers on equipment operations and safety procedures. Support smooth transition and vertical startup post-installation. Provide hands-on support to new engineers during commissioning and troubleshooting phases.

Technical / Functional Competencies:

Strong understanding of ASRS, Double Deep, and Manual racking systems. Competency in warehouse project planning and execution aligned with URS and business goals. Knowledge of warehouse automation, layout optimization, and space utilization. Working knowledge of MS Project, AutoCAD, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools. Practical understanding of TPM and preventive maintenance systems.

Soft Skills & Other Requirements:

Strong team player with good interpersonal and leadership skills. Proactive, positive thinker with innovative and solution-driven approach. Able to work in rotational shifts (A/B/C/G) as per business needs. Efficient in handling vendors, contractors, and internal teams. Open to flexible work requirements and committed to optimized project timelines.
