Pharmaceutical API Plant

Warehouse Assistant Manager

Qualification : Bachelor/Master Degree

Experience : 6-8 years experience in Manufacturing Plant

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations

Manage receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of

raw materials, intermediates, solvents, and finished APIs

. Ensure

segregation of materials

(Approved, Quarantine, Rejected, Returned). Control

FIFO / FEFO

practices for all materials. Maintain

temperature- and humidity-controlled storage

as per material requirements.

2. cGMP & Regulatory Compliance

Ensure warehouse operations comply with

cGMP, WHO-GMP, USFDA, EU-GMP, and local regulatory guidelines

. Prepare and maintain

warehouse SOPs

, logs, and records. Support and participate in

internal audits, regulatory inspections, and customer audits

. Ensure

data integrity (ALCOA principles)

in warehouse documentation.

3. Inventory Management

Monitor stock levels to avoid

shortages, excess inventory, or expiries

. Conduct

periodic cycle counts and physical inventory verification

. Investigate and close

inventory discrepancies

. Coordinate with Planning, Production, QC, and Purchase teams.

4. Material Handling & Safety

Ensure proper handling of

hazardous chemicals, solvents, and controlled substances

. Maintain

MSDS availability

, spill control, and safety compliance. Ensure use of

appropriate PPE and safe material movement practices

. Maintain warehouse equipment (racks, forklifts, pallet trucks).

5. Documentation & Systems

Ensure accurate

GRN, material issue slips, batch-wise traceability

, and dispatch documents. Manage warehouse activities in

ERP / SAP systems

. Maintain records for

retention samples, rejected materials, and scrap disposal

.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
