Key Responsibilities:Dispatch Responsibilities:
Supervise daily dispatch activities and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Verify invoices, delivery challans, and dispatch documents before release.
Allocate and monitor tasks of dispatch clerks, loaders, and helpers.
Coordinate with transporters, courier services, and drivers.
Maintain proper records of all outgoing consignments (manual & ERP).
Track deliveries and resolve any delays, shortages, or customer issues.
Ensure safety, discipline, and cleanliness in the dispatch area.
Billing Responsibilities:
Oversee preparation of invoices, bills, and delivery challans accurately.
Verify billing against sales orders, stock, and dispatch documents.
Ensure GST, taxes, and other statutory details are correctly applied.
Maintain billing records for audits and reporting.
Coordinate with accounts, sales, and warehouse teams for smooth operations.
Supervise billing clerks and train them for accuracy and efficiency.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Knowledge of dispatch, logistics, and billing/accounting operations.
Proficient in ERP, Tally, MS Excel, and MS Office.
Team handling and supervision skills.
Good coordination and communication with internal teams and transporters.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in billing & dispatch records.
Problem-solving and decision-making capability.
Qualification & Experience:
Graduate in Commerce / Business / Logistics (preferred).
4-6 years' experience in dispatch and billing; minimum 2 years in supervisory role.
Experience in stationery, FMCG, or warehouse operations preferred.
