Core Responsibilities



Lead and oversee the overall well-being, discipline, and security of students residing in the school's hostel/residency, ensuring a conducive environment for focused academic study. Monitor and enforce strict residency rules and routines related to study hours, wake-up/sleep times and visitor protocols to maximize academic focus. Oversee daily operations and infrastructure of the residential facility, ensuring sanitation, maintenance, safety, and proper resource availability (e.g., study halls, mess facilities). Act as the primary point of contact for students, parents, and school administration regarding disciplinary issues, emergency situations, and residency life. Foster a culture of discipline, respect, and mutual support among students, promoting healthy competition and a positive, studious atmosphere. Ensure all residency activities and protocols are aligned with the school's academic schedule and the ultimate goal of student success in the target exams (JEE/NEET). Handle students concerns regarding food, health issue, hospital emergencies without hesitation. Keep log book of all school students and ensure they are attending classes on time.

Daily Tasks



Supervise mealtimes and study hall sessions, maintaining silence and order to support concentration. Support prayer for religious students inside the hostel premises. Manage workloads related to facility maintenance, mess operations, and support staff (e.g., security guards, cleaning crew), ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety. Monitor student attendance and performance in internal tests, coordinating with academic counsellors to identify students needing intervention or support. Address student grievances and resolve minor conflicts promptly and fairly, applying disciplinary measures as per the school handbook when necessary. Ensure accurate records are maintained for all entry/exit logs, emergency contacts, medical issues, and disciplinary actions.

Collaborations



Work closely with the Academic Director to align residency schedules with the demanding JEE/NEET class and test timetables. Liaise with the Mess/Catering Manager to ensure nutritious and timely meals are provided, accommodating dietary needs where necessary. Report directly to the School Principal or academic head, providing regular updates on student discipline, health status, and facility needs.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
