We are looking for a
dedicated Ward Secretary
to join our team and support smooth ward operations, patient services, and documentation in compliance with NABH standards.
Key Responsibilities
Handle
patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures
.
Maintain
ward records, census, bed-occupancy reports, and death registers
.
Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, billing, and other departments for patient needs.
Assist in
death registration
by preparing required documents and liaising with municipal authorities.
Provide and manage
patient feedback forms
; support the quality team in review collection and reporting.
Maintain an organized filing system for medical records, consent forms, and other documentation.
Ensure timely requisition of
stationery and ward supplies
.
Support
NABH documentation and audits
as required.
Requirements
Education:
Graduate in any discipline (Diploma in Hospital Administration preferred).
Experience:
1-2 years in a similar hospital administrative role.
(Freshers with good communication and computer skills will be considered.)*
Skills:
Good communication in
Tamil and English
.
Basic knowledge of
hospital management software (HMS)
and MS Office.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Empathy and professionalism in handling patients and families.
