Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Ward Nurse to join our inpatient care team. The Ward Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective, and patient-centered nursing care to individuals admitted to the hospital ward. The role involves close monitoring of patient progress, administration of medications, documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to promote recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver nursing care to patients in the ward in accordance with established nursing protocols and hospital policies. Monitor, record, and report symptoms, changes in patient conditions, and treatment responses. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and observe for side effects or adverse reactions. Assist with daily living activities such as hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and toileting. Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, treatments, or surgical procedures and assist where necessary. Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely nursing records using the hospital's documentation system. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, post-discharge care, medications, and recovery. Adhere to infection control and safety procedures to protect patients and staff. Participate in ward rounds, case discussions, and nursing handovers.

Qualifications:

Education:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)

Licensure:

Valid RN license in Karnataka

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required Advanced Life Support (ALS) - Preferred (especially in surgical/medical wards)

Experience:

At least 1 year of experience in a hospital ward setting preferred .

Working Conditions:

Rotational shift- (8AM-5PM) (11AM-8PM) (8PM - 8AM) Includes weekends and holidays working.
