We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Ward Boy to support nursing and medical staff in providing quality patient care. The candidate should be willing to work day and night shifts as per duty requirements and assist in the smooth functioning of hospital wards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with mobility, including transferring, positioning, and transporting patients within the hospital.
Support nursing staff in routine patient care activities.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of patient rooms, wards, and equipment.
Help in shifting patients for diagnostic tests, procedures, and surgeries.
Deliver medical files, samples, reports, and medications between departments.
Assist in emergency situations as directed by medical or nursing staff.
Ensure proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste as per hospital protocols.
Follow hospital rules, safety guidelines, and infection control measures.
Perform other duties assigned by supervisors or nursing staff.
Eligibility & Requirements:
Prior experience in a hospital setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
Physically fit and able to stand or move for long hours.
Willingness to work rotational day and night shifts.
