Assist patients with mobility, including shifting, lifting, and transferring from bed to stretcher/wheelchair.
Help patients with basic activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding (if required).
Provide support to nursing staff during procedures and treatments.
Escort patients to diagnostic departments (X-ray, lab, OT, etc.).
Ward Maintenance & Hygiene
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms, wards, and common areas.
Change bed sheets, pillow covers, and keep patient beds neat and tidy.
Dispose of biomedical waste as per hospital protocols.
Ensure regular cleaning of equipment, stretchers, and wheelchairs.
Logistics & Support
Transport specimens to the lab and bring medications or supplies from the pharmacy/stores.
Assist in stocking and replenishing ward supplies (linen, disposables, etc.).
Ensure proper handling of hospital equipment and furniture.
Support staff during emergency situations and follow safety protocols.
Patient Interaction
Communicate politely and respectfully with patients and attendants.
Provide basic information or guide them as directed by the nursing staff.
Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times.
