Position Overview

Rebirth Hospital & Rehabilitation Centre is seeking dedicated, compassionate, and responsible Ward Boys/Ward Girls to support our nursing and clinical team. The role involves providing patient care assistance, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and ensuring smooth functioning of the ward.

Key Responsibilities1. Patient Care Assistance

Assist patients in daily activities such as bathing, feeding, mobility, and personal hygiene. Help patients in shifting from bed to wheelchair, stretcher, or washroom. Support nursing staff in routine patient care tasks. Ensure patient comfort and respond promptly to their basic needs.

2. Ward Management

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms, wards, and nursing stations. Change bed sheets, pillow covers, and linens regularly. Ensure proper disposal of medical and general waste following hospital protocols. Assist in maintaining ward supplies such as gloves, gowns, water, and sanitary materials.

3. Medical Assistance (Non-Clinical)

Transport samples, reports, and files between departments. Assist in shifting patients for tests, investigations, or procedures. Support nursing and medical teams during emergencies when required.

4. Administrative & Support Tasks

Maintain records of patient movements when assigned. Ensure availability of wheelchairs, stretchers, and basic equipment. Help manage visitor movement and maintain discipline in the ward. Follow all hospital rules, safety protocols, and infection-control guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 10th or 12th pass (preferred). Prior experience in hospital/healthcare setup is an added advantage. Physically fit and able to lift or move patients safely. Good communication, patience, and caring attitude. Ability to work in shifts and handle stressful situations calmly.

Compassionate and patient-friendly. Responsible, punctual, and disciplined. Team player with a positive attitude. Respectful and empathetic towards patients struggling with mental health and addiction recovery.

Work Schedule

Rotational shifts (Morning/Evening/Night). Full-time position.
