Job Description
: Ward Boy A Ward Boy is responsible for providing basic patient care services, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the hospital wards, and assisting the nursing staff and doctors in their day-to-day activities. Key Responsibilities: Assist patients in moving around the hospital and transporting them to various departments for tests and procedures Help in admitting and discharging patients Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the hospital wards, including changing bed sheets, cleaning and sanitizing the patient\'s room, and disposing of waste properly Assist the nursing staff and doctors in their day-to-day activities Monitor the patient\'s vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff or doctors Provide basic care services such as feeding, bathing, and grooming patients Assist in maintaining the inventory of medical supplies and equipment in the ward Maintain records of patient care and treatment Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients and equipment Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures Previous experience as a Ward Boy or similar role is preferred
