Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist surgeons and anesthetists during cardiac and thoracic surgeries. Prepare and maintain sterile surgical instruments and equipment in the OT. Monitor patients' vital signs and assist in post-operative recovery and stabilization in the ICU. Administer medications and IV fluids as per physician orders. Maintain accurate patient records, including vital charts and progress notes. Ensure infection control protocols and aseptic techniques are strictly followed. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Manage and handle emergency situations promptly and effectively. Participate in staff training and continuous professional development programs. Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate compassionate care at all times.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.

Registration:

Registered with State Nursing Council.

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in

Cardiac Thoracic OT / Cardiac ICU

Additional Skills:

Knowledge of cardiac monitoring equipment and ventilators. Strong understanding of cardiac surgical procedures. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to handle critical situations with composure.
