is responsible for operating shearing machines to cut metal sheets into specified dimensions and angles

Setting up and operating power shears

to cut metal objects like plates, sheets, and bars to the required dimensions.

Positioning and clamping stops

to set the length and angle of cut, using tools like rulers or templates.

Inspecting workpieces

for accuracy and verifying dimensions using tape, compass, or gauges.

Flexibility in working Night shifts
