Job Description
To teach French as a second/foreign language to students, ensuring they develop proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening, along with an appreciation for Francophone culture.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging French lessons aligned with the curriculum (CBSE / IGCSE / IB / Cambridge). Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning. Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural elements of the French language. Create assessments and evaluate student progress through written, oral, and practical tests. Maintain student records and prepare progress reports. Foster a positive classroom environment that supports learning and development. Participate in school events, language exhibitions, and inter-school competitions. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school-wide initiatives.
