Deploy, configure, and manage Cisco WAN platforms (ASR/ISR/NCS routers) using IOS / IOS-XE / NX-OS.
Design and implement enterprise WAN architecture across multiple regions (MPLS, ILL, MPLS-VPN, BGP Peering).

Responsible for leading any planned scheduled maintenance activities.

Create architecture documents, HLD/LLD, diagrams, method of procedures (MoPs), SOPs, change documentation.

Experience in multi-site network design and deployment, large-scale rollouts, migrations, and cross-functional collaboration (with ISP, vendors, internal IT, operations teams)

Strong communication, interpersonal skills; ability to work with vendors / service providers / cross-functional teams; ability to work under pressure, maintain service-level commitments

Effective Ticket handling to adhere Agreed SLA.

Prepare MOP/SOP on security product for change and issue for L2 engineers.

Should mentor L2 Engineer during troubleshooting of issue and change management.

Validating the plan of action (POA) for change with proper CAB approval.

Technical & Functional Skills & Certifications

Security certification will prepfer on Pala Alto,Check point and Fortinet

Cisco CCNA/CCNP- Service providerCisco SD-WAN

Any graduation/ Diploma

Experience

6-8 years of related experience in Customer facing Organization from the SI domain.

Hands-on with Cisco platforms (ISR, ASR, Catalyst, Nexus) on IOS/IOS-XE/NX-OS.

Strong knowledge of enterprise WAN technologies: MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VRF, Multi-homing, Redundant WAN.

Implementation of IPSec VPN, L2L VPN, SSL VPN within WAN architecture.

Strong QoS, WAN optimization, traffic engineering, bandwidth management.

Perform WAN/SD-WAN policy design, QoS, bandwidth optimization, application-aware routing.

Deep knowledge of WAN architectures -- MPLS, VPNs, BGP/OSPF/ISIS/EIGRP, VRF, MPLS-VPN, multi-homing, peering, redundant WAN connectivity.
