. The ideal candidate must bring in-depth product knowledge, existing client/vendor relationships, and a keen sense of interior design trends. You will play a key role in launching and scaling the wallpaper business vertical at Drapes & Tassels.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive B2B and B2C sales for our wallpaper product lines
Build relationships with architects, interior designers, and premium retail clients
Conduct site visits and consultations to understand client needs
Manage wallpaper catalogues, samples, pricing, and availability
Coordinate with vendors for custom prints, timely deliveries, and quality checks
Contribute to merchandising, training, and marketing initiatives for wallpapers
Report on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in the Wallpaper industry
(Retail or Distribution)
Strong understanding of wallpaper types, installation techniques, and market trends
Established network within the interior design and architect community
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Aesthetic sense aligned with luxury home decor brands
Willingness to travel within city for client visits and business development
Preferred:
Prior experience working with luxury wallpaper brands or importers
Exposure to CRM tools or sales reporting platforms
Team leadership experience (for senior roles)
