The Student counselor at

GEEBEE Education

will be responsible for guiding students through the process of studying abroad, helping them select programs, and providing support through their entire journey from application to departure. This position requires strong communication skills, knowledge of international education opportunities, and a passion for helping students achieve their academic and career goals.

Key Responsibilities

Student Guidance

: Provide personalized counseling services to prospective students interested in studying abroad, based on their academic background, career goals, and personal preferences. Offer information on various study abroad programs, including universities, courses, visa requirements, scholarships, and cultural experiences. Assist students in selecting the most suitable study abroad program, university, and destination.

Application Process Support

: Help students complete application forms, gather necessary documents, and meet deadlines for university admissions, visa processing, and scholarships. Review students' academic qualifications, transcripts, and recommendation letters to ensure eligibility for study abroad programs.

Visa and Immigration Support

: Provide guidance on the visa application process, including required documentation, timelines, and interviews. Keep up-to-date on changes in immigration regulations and ensure that students comply with legal and institutional requirements.

Program Marketing and Promotion

: Promote study abroad programs through events, workshops, and informational sessions at schools, colleges, and universities. Build and maintain relationships with partner universities, study abroad organizations, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

Educational Background

: Bachelor's degree (required)

Experience

: Prior experience in student counseling, study abroad advising, or education-related roles is preferred. Knowledge of international education systems, visa procedures, and cultural diversity is essential.

Skills

: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle sensitive situations with empathy. Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
