Senior Engineer - Renewable Energy (3 to 5 Years Experience)

Role Summary

A mid-level engineering role responsible for leading design tasks, reviewing technical documentation, supporting DPR and TEV preparation, and presenting technical concepts to clients and internal stakeholders. The role demands strong analytical capabilities, consulting-oriented communication skills, and the ability to independently manage engineering deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Lead preparation and review of DPRs, feasibility studies, TEV reports, and technical notes. Independently prepare detailed layouts, SLDs, BOQs, calculations, and engineering drawings. Review OEM datasheets, specifications, test reports, and ensure compliance with IEC/IS standards. Conduct site assessments, technical audits, and performance evaluations. Present technical information, reports, and findings to clients, management, and project teams. Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and internal cross-functional teams. Provide guidance to junior engineers and ensure quality control of all engineering outputs.

Qualifications & Skills

BE/B.Tech or Diploma in

Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering

3-5 years of experience in the renewable energy consulting or engineering industry

(mandatory). Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, BESS, hybrid systems, or floating solar will be an advantage. High proficiency in

AutoCAD

, MS Office, and relevant engineering software (PVsyst, STAAD, Helioscope preferred).

Excellent technical presentation skills

with the ability to articulate engineering concepts clearly. Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver within deadlines.
