Job Description

The Waiter/Waitress will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing excellent customer service to ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience. The ideal candidate will be courteous, efficient, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and escort customers to their tables. Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies). Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering system. Communicate order details to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages promptly and in a friendly manner. Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any issues. Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area. Deliver checks and collect bill payments. Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning. Provide excellent customer service to guests to ensure their satisfaction. Handle customer complaints and inform the manager on duty if necessary. Work with other staff as a team to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Proven work experience as a Waiter/Waitress or similar role. Basic math skills. Strong customer service skills. Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work in shifts. High school diploma or equivalent; food safety training is a plus.
