The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing excellent guest service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food and beverage service. The role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Present menus, offer recommendations, and take accurate food and beverage orders.
Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
Ensure all orders are served according to hotel/restaurant standards.
Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and respond promptly to any requests or complaints.
Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas.
Handle billing procedures and process payments accurately.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Assist with setting up tables, decorations, and special event arrangements as required.
Uphold the establishment's service standards and maintain a positive attitude at all times.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a hotel, restaurant, or cafe preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Positive attitude, customer-focused, and team-oriented.
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Education:
Minimum 10th / 12th standard or equivalent.
Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management preferred.
