Key Responsibilities & Duties Guest Interaction: Greet customers warmly, escort them to tables, present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about dishes, ingredients, or potential allergens. Order Management: Take accurate food and beverage orders, enter them into a Point-of-Sale (POS) system, and relay them to the kitchen. Service Delivery: Deliver food and drinks to tables efficiently, ensuring correct orders and presentation, and promptly refill drinks. Customer Satisfaction: Check on guests throughout their meal, anticipate needs (like refills), handle complaints professionally, and ensure a positive experience from start to finish. Payment Processing: Prepare bills, process payments (cash/card), and provide change accurately. Dining Area Maintenance: Set and clear tables, wipe down surfaces, stock service stations with cutlery, glassware, and napkins, and maintain overall cleanliness. Upselling: Suggest appetizers, desserts, or popular menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
