Job Description

Greeting customers warmly and escorting them to their tables.

Presenting menus to customers and explaining menu items, specials, and promotions.

Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Transmitting orders to the kitchen staff and ensuring that all special requests or dietary restrictions are communicated.

Checking orders for accuracy before serving them to customers.

Serving food and beverages promptly and correctly.

Setting up tables with appropriate utensils, napkins, and condiments.

Clearing tables of used dishes and utensils.

Resetting tables for the next customers.

Being knowledgeable about the menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.

Offering recommendations and helping customers make informed choices.

Communicating effectively with kitchen staff, bar staff, and other waitstaff.

Responding to customer inquiries and addressing concerns or complaints.

Suggesting additional items such as appetizers, desserts, or drinks to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.

Presenting bills to customers and processing payments accurately.

Handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.

Cleanliness and Hygiene:

Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area, including regular table cleaning and maintaining a tidy workspace.

Collaborating with kitchen and other staff to ensure smooth operation.

Assisting colleagues when necessary, especially during busy periods.

Adherence to Policies:

Following restaurant policies, including dress code and safety regulations.

Managing time efficiently to serve multiple tables and meet customer expectations.

Building positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and positive reviews.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
