Waiter - Vegetarian Restaurant and Marriage Hall

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Waiter to join our team at our vegetarian restaurant and marriage hall. The ideal candidate will be passionate about vegetarian cuisine and committed to providing exceptional service in our alcohol-free establishment.

Key Responsibilities

Restaurant Service:



Greet guests warmly and present menus with knowledge of our exclusively vegetarian offerings Take food and beverage orders accurately, with ability to explain vegetarian ingredients and preparation methods Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high presentation standards Provide recommendations on plant-based dishes and accommodate dietary restrictions within our vegetarian framework Handle payment processing and ensure accurate billing Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned

Event Service:



Provide professional table service during wedding receptions and special celebrations Set up and break down event spaces according to client specifications Serve multi-course vegetarian meals during large-scale events Coordinate with kitchen and event management teams to ensure smooth service flow Assist guests with special requests while adhering to our vegetarian and alcohol-free policies Maintain professional appearance and demeanor during high-profile events

Customer Service:



Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive and friendly service Address guest concerns and dietary questions with knowledge of vegetarian cuisine Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to accommodate special vegetarian dietary needs Maintain knowledge of daily specials and seasonal vegetarian menu items Support team members during busy periods to ensure consistent service quality
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required 1-2 years of experience in restaurant service preferred Knowledge of vegetarian cuisine and cooking methods Commitment to working in an alcohol-free environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays Professional appearance and positive attitude Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Experience with POS systems preferred but not required Food safety certification or willingness to obtain
