Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Machine Setup & Operation

Set up VTL machines according to job requirements (tooling, fixtures, jaws, and programs). Read and interpret engineering drawings, job specifications, and process sheets. Perform part machining operations such as facing, turning, boring, grooving, and threading. Load programs and make necessary offsets or minor adjustments.

2. Production & Quality

Ensure components are produced within tolerance using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, etc.). Conduct first-piece inspection and complete in-process quality checks. Maintain accuracy and consistency throughout the production cycle.

3. Tooling & Maintenance

Select, install, and replace cutting tools and inserts as needed. Monitor tool wear and take corrective actions. Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain records of production output, inspection reports, tool usage, and machine parameters. Report deviations, machine abnormalities, or quality concerns to supervisors.

5. Safety & Compliance

Follow all safety protocols and use PPE as required. Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the machine and work area. Comply with organizational policies and ISO / quality management systems.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
