Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate VTL machines for machining large and complex metal parts.? Read and interpret engineering blueprints, process sheets, and technical drawings.? Select, install, and align tools and fixtures for each job.? Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to achieve dimensional accuracy and surface finish.? Perform regular inspection of in-process and finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).? Perform routine and preventative maintenance to keep machines running efficiently.? Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas, following safety protocols and company standards.? Record production data and report any machine or quality issues to supervisors.? Troubleshoot minor machine problems and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.? Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and quality output.?
Required Skills and Qualifications

2+ years of experience operating VTL or lathe machines in a manufacturing or machining environment.? Ability to read and understand technical drawings and geometric tolerances.? Proficiency in using precision measurement instruments and inspection techniques.? Understanding of tool selection, cutting parameters, and machining processes for various materials.? Attention to detail, commitment to producing quality work, and problem-solving skills.? Technical training or certification in machining is preferred; ITI, Diploma, or relevant qualification.? Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication skills.?
