Role Overview The Head - Waterproofing Business will lead and grow the company's waterproofing division with full P&L accountability. The role demands a strategic leader with deep technical expertise, strong market insight, and proven ability to drive top-line growth, profitability, and operational excellence. This position will be responsible for building business pipelines, ensuring flawless project execution, and maintaining high customer satisfaction across infrastructure, industrial, and commercial segments. Key Responsibilities Strategic & P&L Management Own the division's Profit & Loss, delivering revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost control. Develop and implement the annual business plan, sales targets, pricing strategies, and profitability goals. Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to guide product/service offerings. Business Development & Sales Lead sales teams to win large waterproofing contracts in infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and real estate sectors. Build and manage relationships with key clients, contractors, architects, consultants, and government agencies. Drive strategic partnerships with suppliers, distributors, and applicators to enhance market reach. Project Execution & Technical Excellence Oversee project execution ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. Ensure technical specifications, application methods, and material usage meet or exceed industry norms. Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during project execution. Team Leadership & Capability Building Lead a multi-functional team including sales, technical, project, and support staff. Recruit, train, and mentor talent for succession readiness and performance improvement. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus. Operations & Process Improvement Drive operational efficiency through process standardization and technology adoption. Manage inventory, procurement, and logistics to ensure timely project delivery. Implement robust MIS and reporting systems for performance tracking. Qualifications & Experience Education: B.E./B.Tech (Civil / Chemical) or equivalent; MBA preferred. Experience: Minimum 15+ years in waterproofing, construction chemicals, or building protection systems with at least 5 years in a senior P&L role. Proven track record in business growth, contract negotiation, and high-value project execution. Strong network with EPC contractors, developers, and consultants in MMR and surrounding regions.
