How You'll Make an Impact:

• You will work with cutting-edge technology teams on integration, enterprise, and transformational projects. The Software Technical Writer should have experience documenting software products and working with engineering teams across multiple previous projects. The technical writer will be directly aligned to the line of business regulatory and security initiatives with opportunities to learn and grow in the areas of product compliance and reporting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Write and update technical documentation for the onboarding process related to data and the application lifecycle as a guide as application workloads migrate to cloud.
• Structure the technical content, determine the content information model and the best way to simplify the authoring process for this content.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts, technical and product leads, and engineering teams
• The technical writer will be directly aligned to the organization's regulatory and security initiatives with opportunities to learn and develop in the areas of product compliance.
• Support development of processes and procedures to strengthen the security posture and achieve & maintain compliance.
• Translate regulatory requirements into business requirements and communicate security risks to different audiences ranging from business leaders to engineers.
• Responsible for delivering updates and analysis to senior stakeholders regarding the portfolio to communicate project status, KPI's, trends, and patterns.

Qualifications

• 8 - 10 + years of work experience working with technology or software engineering
• You have experience as a Technical Writer / Author, and have demonstrated success communicating and producing content targeted at developers
• You have experience writing software product documentation and integration guides
• You have a strong understanding of tech ecosystems (frameworks, programming languages, cloud services, DevOps)
• You have experience with developer-focused media and have published content targeted at developer communities
• You have an aptitude to quickly learn and understand technical concepts and ideas; you can work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Understanding of cloud environments to liase with technology partners in (risk, cybersecurity, engineering, privacy) to create governance documentation.
• Project management skills
• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills

Excellent written & oral communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills
Nice to Haves:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience related in the technology
Additional certifications in technology related disciplines( Cloud provider certifications, AWS Cloud Practioner, Cloud +, etc, ) are preferred but not required.
Coding is NOT required for this position, but it is a plus.
