The Role Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), the VP of Marketing will be responsible for building a marketing organization that is a steward of the Innovapptive brand and is a highly analytical and performance driven services organization capable of supporting multiple stakeholders across multiple long-term, short-term, and immediate marketing needs. The VP of Marketing will be driving all aspects of marketing (product marketing, brand, communications, AR/PR, content creation, and all of digital and modern demand generation marketing). This leader will be tasked with building and managing an exceptional marketing organization capable of driving a new level of visibility and awareness for Innovapptive and its products. Our VP of Marketing will leverage this awareness to help define and shape not only this company’s go-to-market strategy but also the growing Connected Worker category. How You Will Make An Impact Growth
  • Drive marketing strategy and execution across all major marketing, business, and product functions, further strengthening Innovapptive's market relevance and recognition, and accelerating revenue growth.
  • Provide executive leadership for all product messaging, value propositions, competitive analysis and positioning, product launch management, pricing, GTM strategy, sales enablement, and customer insights to inform strategic campaigns that help drive customer acquisition, retention, and expansion.
Customer’s Voice
  • Take a customer first approach and get a deep understanding of the personas who use our products, to constantly refine and articulate our value proposition, building a consistent brand strategy and hierarchy for multiple product lines.
  • Applies broad knowledge of the company's product capabilities and competitive environment to identify new growth areas, new technology, and emerging product/service opportunities.
Marketing Execution
  • Design and drive comprehensive demand generation strategies integrating and leveraging tactics and tools including search engine marketing, email, webinars, events and social media.
  • Act as a data driven leader setting and providing ongoing reporting of KPIs, metrics and ROI, translating this data to actionable insights and iterating as needed.
  • Ensures weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly data-driven reporting of marketing activity and results, guides preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.
  • Develop & manage the marketing budget through comprehensive demand plans that allow for optimization to ensure activities are effective, efficient and deliver successful ROI metrics.
  • Build and lead a world class marketing organization by hiring, developing talent, and scaling the team to meet aggressive ROI-driven goals.
  • Lead cross functional collaboration with a variety of stakeholders across Marketing, Technology, Product, Partnerships, Sales, and Finance. Must have excellent communication skills to ensure clarity and buy-in across all parts of the organization.

What You Bring to The Team

  • Minimum 10 years of well-rounded marketing and senior leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Marketing, Management, or related field of study
  • Deep understanding of the SaaS B2B marketing environment and evolving tools/platforms used to improve online presence
  • Strong digital knowledge and understanding of the Industrial software market preferred
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Hubspot, SalesForce, etc
  • Prior expacerience leading and developing a strong team of marketers that will be critical to the growth of the company
  • Strong written verbal and written communications skills, including presenting to large groups of people and senior management
  • Proven experience and success across all disciplines of marketing (product, branding, strategy, social media, communications, business development)
  • Self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity and challenging priorities
  • Is comfortable with a dual-site working model between the U.S.and India with ability to travel as needed
