The Vice President - IT Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for
growing the company's revenue through IT services sales
. This position owns the complete sales function--from planning the sales strategy to winning large clients and leading the sales team. The VP - IT Sales plays a key role in expanding the company's presence in
both domestic and international markets
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Sales Strategy & Business Growth
Create and execute a clear sales strategy aligned with company goals.
Identify new markets, industries, and client opportunities.
Ensure consistent growth in revenue and long-term business value.
2. New Client Acquisition
Drive outbound sales and business development activities.
Generate leads through LinkedIn, email campaigns, Up work, cold calling, and partnerships.
Convert leads into long-term clients through strong presentations and proposals.
3. Client Relationship & Deal Closure
Lead discussions with senior clients, CXOs, and decision-makers.
Handle negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract closures.
Build strong, long-term relationships to ensure repeat business and account growth.
4. Sales Team Leadership
Build, lead, and mentor the IT sales and business development team.
Set clear targets, KPIs, and performance expectations.
Guide the team on best sales practices and enterprise selling.
5. Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with Marketing, Pre-Sales, and Delivery teams to close and deliver deals successfully.
Track sales performance, pipeline health, and revenue forecasts.
Present regular sales updates and insights to senior management.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
10-12+ years of experience in IT services sales, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong exposure to domestic and international IT services sales.
Proven track record of closing enterprise and large-value deals.
Hands-on experience with CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Up work, and outbound sales methods
