Job Description

Position Purpose
To manage Credit Transaction Mgmt (CTM) activities of Bank. Ensuring highly efficient and effective qualitative turnaround to enhance client satisfaction with due compliance and safeguarding shareholder's interest.
Responsibilities
A. Team Management

  • Manage and steer teams with effective control
  • Ensure delivery with quality to all internal and external clients
  • Enhance turnaround with standard improvisation with effective liaising
  • Effective control over outsource activities and management reports
  • Ensure adherence to Group & Regulatory guidelines with systematic resources allocation enhancing service levels
  • Team management and team building
B. CTM
Supervising CTM Operations with respect to following:
  • Document issuance with due customization after liaising with internal & external stakeholders ensuring timeliness and accuracy
  • Deviation & waiver management
  • Credit security & collateral management.
  • Safe keeping of credit documents by branches
  • Timely security reports from appropriate authorities
  • Effective check on procuring periodic credit security information from clients viz. stock & book debt statements, insurance policies, stock & security audit, etc.
  • Manage and co-ordinate inspections & audits : IG/Regulatory/Statutory/ Risk ORM/ OPC.
  • Carry out activities as delegated by management from time to time. Limitation Monitoring & Covenant Monitoring
  • Monitoring of Early Warning signals/irregularities and excesses in the portfolios in close liaison with Relationship and Risk Teams.
  • Monitoring of Early Termination Options
  • Loading and Authorization of Facilities/limits
  • Past Due file review monitoring and monitoring of overdue Commitments
  • Monitoring of Credit Proposals and overview of Watch list portfolio.
  • Coordination with regulators during Inspection and ensure remediation if any
  • Supervise clients' enquiries & complaints ensuring accurate and timely resolutions
  • Proactive support to RMs for business with feedback & new initiatives
  • Direct and manage reporting requirements for the department
  • Support and facilitate business lines on new initiatives
  • Supporting/ managing any other projects/ activities, as directed by Management from time to time.
  • Supporting Region on various initiatives and projects.
  • Anti-Money Laundering / Financial Sanctions ("AML/FS") related duties
  • Operations are an integral part of the control framework including for AML/FS topics. In that respect, in performing your role you are expected to ensure adherence to AML/FS-related Group Policies and execution of associated operational controls, and to promptly escalate any resulting hit for analysis and decision to the relevant authority.

  • Expertise in credit administration.
  • Keeping track of new developments in the credit administration field and implementing best Industry practices in Bank.
