About the Role:
To build, manage, and optimize the entire delivery and operations structure across Nethority's digital ecosystem -- ensuring every client project and internal brand achieves timelines, profitability, and measurable growth results.
The VP of Digital Operations is the bridge between strategy (CXO layer) and execution (department heads and project teams).
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery & Process Management
Oversee delivery of all active client and in-house eCommerce projects (Web, Digital, SaaS, Support).
Create and standardize SOPs, timelines, and checklists across verticals.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Manage cross-department collaboration between Tech, Marketing, Support, and Brand Growth teams.
Implement daily huddles, weekly sprints, and monthly reviews with team leads.
Performance & Profitability:
Drive monthly delivery targets and gross margin optimization for each vertical.
Track utilization, project costs, and productivity metrics for all delivery teams.
Maintain dashboards with key metrics:
Project health index
On-time delivery %
Profit per project
Team utilization %
Client retention / NPS
People & Team Leadership:
Directly manage 4-5 Department Heads (Web Dev, Digital Marketing, Support, QA).
Mentor Project Managers, Delivery Managers, and Analysts.
Work with HR to ensure hiring, training, and career growth of all operational roles.
Build a culture of accountability, transparency, and structured communication.
Client Experience & Retention:
Collaborate with Sales & Account teams to ensure seamless onboarding deliverysuccess handover.
Lead client reviews, feedback cycles, and SLA adherence.
Handle escalations calmly and strategically, ensuring client confidence and long-term retention.
Systems & Tools Implementation:
Champion implementation of:
Project Management Tools: ClickUp / Monday / Asana
Delivery Dashboards: Google Data Studio / PowerBI
Communication Systems: Slack / Notion / Internal wiki
Drive automation and analytics for internal visibility.
Strategic & Cross-Functional Contribution
Support COO in quarterly goal planning and P&L improvement.
Coordinate with CTO for tech efficiency and scalability initiatives.
Work with CGO/CMO to align marketing deliverables with brand objectives.
Contribute to leadership meetings with data-driven insights and problem-solving mindset.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
8-15 years of proven experience
digital agency / eCommerce / SaaS delivery operations..
Strong understanding of web development, digital marketing, and eCommerce ecosystems.
Process-driven, people-oriented, analytical, and growth-focused.
Calm under pressure, decisive under ambiguity.
Excellent communicator across tech and creative teams.
Strategic thinker with strong operational discipline.
Preferred Tools Exposure: ClickUp, Hubstaff, Slack, Google Sheets Dashboards, PowerBI.
