Why this role exists
We're hiring a VP Engineering to build the technical foundation of the company. This is a founding leadership role and a core member of the leadership team. The mandate is clear: execution, reliability, and system quality. This is a hands-on role in the early stages. If you're looking to inherit a large team or work on a finished architecture, this won't be a fit.
What you'll own

• Backend and frontend execution
• Infrastructure, uptime, and incident response
• Data integrity and security
• Core integrations. EHR, payments, WhatsApp, telephony
• Release discipline and technical quality

What good looks like

• High uptime
• Few surprises
• Clean releases
• Systems that scale smoothly as usage grows

Experience that helps

• ~8-15 years of engineering experience
• Experience with distributed or high-uptime systems
• Has built for mobile-first or WhatsApp-heavy workflows
• Healthcare, fintech, or data-sensitive domains are a plus
