Job Introduction

  • To present a competitive offer which will help the Bank get an entry with a corporate and which will add to revenue by way of incremental uploads
  • To ensure the quality of corporates acquired as per the required guidelines
  • To build rapport with Key Influencers in all corporates empaneled as well as targeted for empanelment
  • To liaise with corporate banking RMs and leverage the internal opportunity available in the bank
  • To grow the share of accounts from a corporate by engaging with Key Influencers post hand over to to manager cross sell
  • To generate a regional plan and pipeline of corporates targeted for acquisition
  • To implement marketing events and promotions to generate business in their catchments, in conjunction with support departments such as INM MKT
  • Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets
Principal Responsibilities
  • Ensure smooth on-boarding of corporates to the CEP Program
  • Ensure a consistently high level of service delivery for all corporate touch points
  • Continuous follow-up and constantly touch base with Key decision makers in corporates
  • Ensure transparent and smooth transfer of corporates to Manager Cross sell for furthering the relationship with the corporate
  • To provide feedback on the competition offers to product as well as Regional Head to drive best in class competitiveness in offers shared with new corporates
  • Ensure constant touch with the corporate banking RMs to leverage internal corporate referral opportunity
  • Comply to all relevant AML regulations & Global Standards
  • Drive delivery of corporate acquisition targets for defined region as per the annual operating plan
  • Drive the quality of corporates being acquired basis company profiling and sharper focus on profitability of corporates

Operational Effectiveness & Control
  • Protect Bank\'s interest and ensure compliance to regulatory and internal guidelines
  • Comply with the applicable laws, regulations, Group and local policy related to Sanctions and AML policy of HSBC while undertaking various day to day operations
  • Remain alert and promptly report to the Sanctions Officer/ INM FCC office/ Line manager (As applicable and required by the AML and sanction Policy) if a customer is found to be engaging in sanction evasion activities or violations of AML policy or any other related procedures.
  • Understand the legal responsibility to be vigilant for unusual activity and reporting of the unusual activities
  • Support the Country or Regional FCC AML Office/ AML Investigations by providing additional information when required
  • Responsible for attending and successfully completing the AML and Sanctions related assigned training in the mandated timeframe
  • Understanding the consequences of failing to attend or successfully complete the training as mandated by the AML Education Lead FCC; Requesting additional AML training that you deem necessary or appropriate to perform your jobs through your entity manager
  • Demonstrate an understanding of PEP acceptance, prohibition, CDD & EDD guidelines in order to ensure that the INM RBWM is fully compliant with the PEP LoBP.
  • understand the relatively high reputational risk that arises from any perceived weaknesses in controls in respect of substantial cash deposits or withdrawals activity, wire transfer, monetary instruments and pouch and mail
  • To be aware and Identify high risk indicators for various products and Services offered by INM RBWM example Cash, Insurance, credit cards products etc.
  • Ensure that all records are obtained in respect of INM RBWM customers or New to bank customer for any products and services provided by HSBC are as per the process laid down
  • To be aware of AML risk posed by pouch and mail, Monetary Instruments, cash services and wire transfer services and should undergo the mandatory training for the same
  • Necessary remediation steps need to be undertaken in case if there is any breach or non-adherence to the policy laid down in the LoBPs
  • Must undertake necessary due diligence to ensure that the nature of the transaction is in sync with the customer profile, else raise it to line manager for further clarification.
  • The staff must be aware of the scope of services of various products and services that are offered and those which are prohibited because of the guidelines laid down in the line of Business procedures
  • A key challenge is to service corporates salary accounts to corporate in a market already saturated with similar offerings
  • To offer corporate salary relationship to \xe2\x80\x9cright\xe2\x80\x9d corporates \xe2\x80\x93 whose employees have the propensity to buy products we wish to sell.
  • To ensure the PRM & Advance base increases by adding customers from the correct target segment
  • To keep abreast of the market in terms of new products and services that is being offered in financial services.
  • In a market where the Corporate Salary segment forms a significant part; it becomes extremely crucial to have a foothold in this market for a typical liabilities led business in the current banking scenario. The role requires to target the right set of corporates; understand their needs and offer customized solutions keeping a balance of the revenue expected and cost incurred for the solution. This segment has huge cross-sell opportunity, ability to provide high acquisition numbers and build the liability book value and simultaneously being a low cost channel for the bank which should be leveraged greatly
  • Adheres to processes and controls to identify and mitigate risks and ensures timely escalation of control issues and reputation risks.
  • Demonstrate leadership on Regulatory & Compliance matters. Maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting in accordance with section B.1.2 of the Group Operations FIM
  • Maintains HSBC internal control standards and addresses audit points and/or any issues raised by regulators in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and observe HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators.
  • Foster a compliance culture and implement Group Compliance Policy by managing compliance risk in liaison with the Head of Group Compliance, Regional Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer, ensuring adequate compliance resources are in place and training is provided, and optimising relations with regulators

Requirements

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in any stream.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cards/personal loans/corporate salary accounts.
  • Good understanding of Corporate Employee Program business and should be able to strategize to acquire NTB Corporates. Additional Information Mandatory to successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as required.
