The Role Responsibilities Job Role End to end ownership of the process around Loan Impairment forecasting and Reporting services covering retail risk Function / Segment / Regions. Ensure high quality service delivery through measurable performance metrics ensuring effective control, stakeholder engagement and leadership development. Loan Impairment forecasting and Reporting, ECL( IFRS9) Manage CPBB (Consumer, Private and Business Banking) Loan impairment Loss Forecast, Analysis, and reporting process for SCB retail / CPBB Businesses. Portfolio $138bn across 30 Markets SPOC for IIP / ECL / LI related queries from group or country Quarterly IIC paper write up Responsible for overall IFRS9 based ECL for the Group CPBB, ECL review and analysis Forecasting loan impairments using statistical forecasting model and Review of Forecast and explaining the driver to Various stakeholders Preparation quarterly P&L messaging for the Regions / Segments, ensuring key story has been captured to provide meaningful insight understanding of ECL / IFRS 9 model> Sophisticated, Loss Rate and Roll Rate models and forecasting using IFRS 9 standards Review of Forecast and Budget and explaining the driver to Various stakeholders Monthly MIS which includes Various critical MI submissions and adhocs Manage CPBB LI Planning during the Target Setting and Corporate Plan cycles. [Preparation, review, Challenge, finalisation and submission] Ensure Governance and control Strategy Ability to be highly flexible, adaptable, open-minded, responsive to the behaviour of the market. Comprehensive knowledge on basic banking practices, policies and relevant regulatory concerns. Ability to formulate and comply with credit criteria. Risk Management Timely mitigation of risks and resolution of issues including collaboration with all relevant stakeholder functions, and establishment of effective controls. Adherence to laws and regulations, internal risk and compliance policies and the Group Code of Conduct. Completion of all mandatory risk and compliance training including e-learning within stated timeframes. Proactive identification of risks and concerns, including escalation to all relevant stakeholders. Governance Proper documentations like EUC, BIA, BCP, BID, Migration Checklists, SLAs, Recharge Documents, DOI, Change Templates etc. needs to be documented appropriately. Ensuring that proper backups are being arranged for critical reports. Regulatory and Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\'s Values and Code of Conduct. Tech with MBA Finance or CA / CMA with 12 years of experience in Risk function. Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi task, lead through ambiguities, influence where candidate does not have direct authority and build on unstructured formative situations. Strong analytical and Strategic mindset coupled with a thorough understanding of Performance management. In-depth knowledge relevant key performance measures of Credit Risk and Banking retail Lending Products. Significant experience of working with senior management team and of interfacing. Loan Impairment, IFRS 9 and Expected Credit Loss model knowledge. Ability to understand and connect business drivers and rationale. SAS, R, Python or past programming language skills a plus. Advanced Excel, PowerPoint. Experienced people leader.
