DBM India is a NGO started with the vision of serving the least served sections of Mumbai in 2008 and has been working towards creating a sustainable living for the underserved through the tools of education and employment.

DBM India runs various programs under education & employment through its centres within Mumbai located in Trombay, Deonar, Chembur, and Khar.

Through our programs we aim to serve the least served better and help create self-reliant and independent citizens.

About part time job/internship

Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Conduct a comprehensive survey of the community
2. Be respectful and kind in your approach and patiently hear the communities out

Note:

1. Being a good conversationalist will be extremely helpful in your volunteering journey
2. You must be an independent task master in your approach and be able to function well on your own
3. You are an essential part of the process towards serving these communities better as you will be bringing the preliminary information for the organization to create programs and courses to empower the community and serve them well such that they can then become self-reliant and independent and sustain themselves and their communities by gaining employable skills and breaking the vicious cycle of poverty
4. You will gain a certificate for the impact you have generated
5. You will gain on ground experience of working in the marginalized communities in the urban set up
6. You will work with qualified social workers with decades of experience backing them and if you\'re looking to work in the development sector or with the underserved, this opportunity is for you
7. If your work is exceptional, we are happy to offer internships and paid opportunities in the future as well
