Role Overview

We are seeking a

volunteer HOD / Leader for Curriculum Development

who can take full responsibility for architecting the Guru-Vandanam curriculum across:

Gurukul / School ecosystem

Home-schooling model

Prenatal-postnatal Garbha Sanskar learning

Values & sanskar-based childhood education

Holistic learning areas including lifestyle, ethics, mindfulness, health, nutrition, body science, environment, and skill-building

This role requires a

deeply committed, spiritually aligned, research-driven, and industry-experienced individual

who understands both the ancient and the modern.

Who Should Apply

You are the ideal fit if:

You have

strong knowledge of Sanskrit

(reading, understanding, referencing primary texts). You are well-read in

Vedic granthas

, Upanishads, Itihaasa, Yoga-Vedanta, Dharmashastra, Natyashastra, Ayurveda, Grihastha & parenting principles, and Indian knowledge systems. You have

experience in education, pedagogy, curriculum design, or academic research

. You are an

avid reader

Key ResponsibilitiesCurriculum Leadership

Design and develop the entire Guru-Vandanam curriculum framework. Integrate ancient Indian wisdom with modern science and child-development psychology. Ensure curriculum covers values, sanskar, knowledge, wellness, discipline, arts, emotional intelligence, and life skills.

Vedic & Sanskrit Research

Refer to original texts and design modules aligned with authentic sources. Build reading lists, child-friendly interpretations, and age-appropriate content.

Holistic Learning Domains

Develop curriculum for:

Food, nutrition, body science, mind science Soil care, environment, farming, microbial science Energy creation, sustainability, ecology 64 arts (Chatushashti Kal?) Sports, physical discipline, yogic practices Arts, creativity, storytelling, innovation Ethics, gratitude, compassion, seva Conscious eating, etiquette, cultural activities

Team Leadership

Guide and support junior researchers, writers, and volunteers. Review content for accuracy, quality, and cultural integrity.

Innovation & Modern Integration

Blend Vedic knowledge with 21st-century learning methodologies. Create frameworks for Gurukul + Modern Academic learning harmony.
