Role Overview:
The Volunteer - Bridge Support will help the NGO connect beneficiaries with essential services, programs, and opportunities. This role acts as a bridge between the community and the NGO, ensuring smooth communication, timely support, and effective implementation of field activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a link between the NGO and community beneficiaries.
Support outreach drives, community visits, awareness activities, and mobilization.
Explain NGO programs, schemes, and benefits clearly to community members.
Assist in collecting data, surveys, forms, and maintaining beneficiary records.
Coordinate with field workers, social workers, and program teams.
Help in organizing workshops, training sessions, and community meetings.
Provide administrative support (documentation, photo documentation, reports, etc.).
Identify community needs and update the program team regularly.
Ensure proper follow-up with beneficiaries and track progress.
Support crisis intervention or emergency relief activities when required.
Skills & Qualifications:
Passion for social service and community development.
Good communication and interpersonal skills (local language preferred).
Basic computer skills (MS Office, data entry).
Ability to work on field and interact with diverse communities.
Responsible, compassionate, and willing to learn.
Prior volunteering experience in an NGO is a plus (not mandatory).
Work Hours:
Flexible hours depending on project requirements.
