Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and maintain
VoIP systems
(e.g., Asterisk, Cisco Call Manager, FreePBX, 3CX, or similar).
Administer SIP trunks, gateways, and session border controllers (SBCs).
Monitor and troubleshoot
VoIP call quality, latency, jitter, and packet loss
issues.
Plan, deploy, and maintain
network infrastructure
, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
Manage VLANs, QoS, VPNs, NAT, and IP addressing schemes for optimal performance.
Integrate VoIP systems with CRM or other enterprise platforms when needed.
Implement and maintain
network security measures
, including firewall rules and intrusion prevention.
Collaborate with IT and software teams on infrastructure scalability and reliability improvements.
Maintain system documentation, configurations, and change control logs.
Provide technical support and training for VoIP and network issues.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years
of experience in
VoIP and data network engineering
roles.
In-depth knowledge of
SIP, RTP, QoS, and TCP/IP networking
.
Proficiency in
Cisco, MikroTik, Ubiquiti, Juniper, or Fortinet
devices.
Experience with
Linux-based systems
for VoIP hosting and network monitoring.
Familiarity with
network monitoring tools
(e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex network environments.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Preferred / Nice to Have:
Certifications:
CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or VoIP-specific certifications

Experience with
