Job Description

VoIP Business Development job involves identifying and securing new clients for VoIP services, which include wholesale routes, SIP trunking, and cloud communication solutions. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, building client relationships, negotiating contracts, demonstrating VoIP products, managing the full sales cycle, and achieving sales targets. Key skills required are B2B sales experience, strong communication and negotiation abilities, familiarity with telecom technologies like SIP and PBX, and market knowledge of VoIP and related trends.

Key Responsibilities



Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales goals and drive growth for VoIP services. Identify and prospect new business opportunities through various channels, including cold outreach and networking. Achieve and exceed monthly or quarterly sales and revenue targets. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, including international carriers, resellers, and enterprise businesses. Understand client needs and offer tailored VoIP solutions to meet those requirements. Product Demonstration & Sales Cycle Management: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of VoIP services. Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and proposal development to contract negotiation and deal closure. Market & Technical Engagement: Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and industry regulations. Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure the smooth delivery and implementation of services. Reporting & CRM: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in a CRM system. Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance and pipeline status.

Key Skills & Qualifications



Proven B2B sales 1-5Years experience, preferably in the VoIP, telecommunications, or unified communications sector. Strong knowledge of VoIP technologies, such as SIP, PBX, cloud communication systems, and DID/virtual numbers. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and drive results. Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Zoho CRM, HubSpot) is a plus. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, IT, Telecommunications, or a related field is often preferred.
