To enhance students' spoken English proficiency, focusing on clarity, confidence, and internationally accepted pronunciation standards. The Accent Trainer will support learners and faculty in achieving effective communication aligned with Cambridge curriculum expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct interactive training sessions to improve pronunciation, intonation, and fluency.
Design and deliver modules on neutral/global accent training.
Support students in developing confidence for presentations, debates, and interviews.
Collaborate with English faculty to integrate accent training into classroom activities.
Provide individual feedback and mentoring to students needing extra support.
Organize workshops for teachers to strengthen classroom communication.
Maintain records of student progress and prepare periodic reports.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate/Postgraduate in English, Linguistics, Communication, or related field.
Certification in Accent Training/Phonetics preferred.
Prior experience in Cambridge/International schools is an advantage.
Excellent command of spoken English with neutral/global accent.
Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and ability to motivate learners.
