plays a very important role in patient rehabilitation. Their main goal is to help patients gain practical skills, confidence, and independence so they can reintegrate into society or the workforce. Here's a clear breakdown for you:

Role of a Vocational Trainer in a Psychiatric Hospital1. Skill Development

Teach patients basic vocational skills (tailoring, handicrafts, gardening, computer skills, cooking, etc.) depending on their abilities and interests. Provide structured training programs tailored to different levels of functioning.

2. Rehabilitation Support

Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and occupational therapists to create individualized rehabilitation plans. Encourage patients to use their skills as part of therapy and recovery.

3. Social & Work Readiness

Improve patients' communication, time management, and teamwork abilities. Prepare them for possible employment, sheltered workshops, or self-employment.

4. Emotional & Confidence Building

Motivate patients through positive reinforcement. Help them build self-esteem by completing tasks and creating usable products.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain progress records of patients. Share updates with the medical/rehab team for treatment planning.

Key Qualities of a Vocational Trainer

Patience, empathy, and good communication skills. Creativity in designing activities that are engaging and therapeutic. Flexibility to adapt training based on patients' mental health status. Knowledge of multiple vocational trades/skills.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
