We are looking for a skilled VMware Server Administrator to manage, configure, and optimize VMware-based lab environments. The role involves hands-on work with VMware ESXi, vCenter, and server hardware, ensuring lab stability, VM provisioning, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for enterprise-level setups.
Key Skills
VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter installation & configuration
VM provisioning, migration, cloning, snapshots & templates
Server hardware management (Dell/HP/IBM preferred)
Windows & Linux Server administration
Networking basics: VLANs, DNS, DHCP, IP Subnetting
Storage concepts: SAN/NAS, Datastore management
Backup & Recovery (Veeam/Commvault/NetBackup)
Troubleshooting VM performance & resource issues
Scripting (PowerCLI / PowerShell / Bash) - added advantage
Familiarity with security hardening & patch management
