Operate and maintain Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines.

Required Skills:

Hands-on experience in operating VMC machines (preferably with Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls). Good knowledge of mould die manufacturing processes and machining sequences. Basic understanding of CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, NX, Delcam). Strong interpretation of technical drawings and GD&T. Ability to use measuring instruments accurately. Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to machine and program errors.

Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die, Production, or relevant field. 1 to 2 years of experience as a VMC Operator in a tool room or mould die manufacturing environment. Perform precision machining of mould dies, inserts, and tooling components as per design. Read and interpret engineering drawings, 2D/3D models, and CAM programs. Set up VMC machines including tool setting, workpiece clamping, and loading of CNC programs. Make necessary program offsets and tool path corrections during operations. Perform dimensional inspection using precision instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Indicators, etc. Ensure accuracy and quality in all machined components. Coordinate with Design, Quality, and Production teams to ensure smooth workflow. Maintain proper documentation and follow work instructions, job cards, and production reports. Follow 5S, safety guidelines, and housekeeping standards in the tool room.

We are looking for a skilled

Milling Machine Operator

to join our production team. The candidate will be responsible for operating conventional/manual milling machines to produce precision parts as per drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in machine operations, tool handling, and ensuring quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Operate

manual/conventional milling machines

to manufacture components. Interpret and work from engineering drawings and job orders. Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces accurately on the machine. Ensure proper feed, speed, and depth of cut to achieve precision. Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, gauges, etc.). Maintain machines, tools, and work area in proper condition. Follow safety standards and company guidelines.

Requirements:

1-3 years of experience

in operating milling machines. Ability to read and interpret

technical drawings

. Knowledge of machine tools, cutting parameters, and measuring instruments. Strong attention to detail and quality.
