Perform setup, tooling, and fixture adjustments.
Load/unload workpieces and monitor machine cycles.
Programming & Adjustments
Interpret CNC programs (Fanuc / Siemens / other controls).
Make necessary offset and tool corrections.
Assist in simple editing of CNC programs if required.
Quality Control
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Inspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and CMM (if applicable).
Ensure parts meet
tolerance, surface finish, and dimensional accuracy
.
Maintenance & Safety
Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on machines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S compliance).
Follow safety protocols and report any abnormalities.
