Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled VMC Supervisor for a full-time position at our Coimbatore location. This mid-level role requires a candidate with a maximum of 3 years of work experience in the industry. The VMC Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing CNC operations, ensuring quality production, and leading the machine shop team to achieve operational excellence.
Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven proficiency in CNC programming, capable of developing and optimizing CNC programs for efficient machining operations.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for creating precise mechanical designs and drawings.
  • Familiarity with G-code and M-code, essential for programming CNC machines with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Hands-on experience in machine setup and calibration to ensure proper functioning and optimal productivity.
  • Ability to manage production scheduling effectively, ensuring timely and cost-efficient completion of manufacturing processes.
  • Keen eye for quality assurance and inspection, with an emphasis on maintaining high standards and minimizing defects.
  • Demonstrated team leadership skills, with the ability to guide, motivate, and manage a team of machinists and operators.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, able to identify issues in the manufacturing process and implement corrective measures.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily operations in the VMC section to ensure efficient and timely production of parts and components.
  • Develop, review, and optimize CNC programs for quality and efficiency in collaboration with the engineering team.
  • Coordinate and execute machine setups and calibration, ensuring readiness for production requirements.
  • Monitor quality of manufacturing outputs and conduct inspections to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of equipment, coordinating with maintenance teams for timely repairs and servicing.
  • Manage the production schedule, balancing workload and resources for optimal performance.
  • Mentor and develop team members, providing training and support to enhance their skills and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and implement best practices.
