We are seeking an experienced

VMC Setter and Programmer

to join our advanced manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components with precision.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Diploma/ITI/ B-Tech in Mechanical, Machining, or Tool and Die Making. 4+ years of experience as a VMC setter and programmer in a precision machining of Non-ferrous (Aluminium) and Ferrous parts. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T. Hands-on experience with Fanuc controls. Knowledge of cutting tools, machining parameters, and materials (aluminum, steel, etc.). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and edit NC programs for 4-axis VMC machines using manual coding on Fanuc controls. Set up machines, including tooling, fixtures, and work offsets, to meet job specifications. Optimize machining processes to ensure maximum efficiency, accuracy, and tool life. Troubleshoot and resolve machining, programming, and tool wear issues. Conduct first-off inspections and ensure components meet quality standards using measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, SRT and CMM. Perform basic machine maintenance and ensure the safe operation of equipment. Collaborate with the production and quality teams to meet deadlines and resolve issues. Maintain documentation for programs, setups, and processes as per IATF.
