Read and understand engineering drawings to know the exact dimensions, tolerances, and specifications for each part.
Quality control:
Conduct first-piece inspections and perform routine quality checks on finished parts using precision measuring instruments like micrometers and Vernier calipers to ensure they meet specifications.
Tool management:
Monitor tool condition, replace worn or damaged tools, and ensure all tools are correctly calibrated.
Troubleshooting:
Identify and fix problems that arise during production, implement corrective actions, and report mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
Machine maintenance:
Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on VMCs to keep them in optimal working condition
