Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

VMC Setter & Operator

with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) to produce precision components as per engineering drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

:

Set up VMC machines including tool setting, workpiece clamping, and coordinate setting. Load CNC programs and make necessary tool path and offset adjustments. Operate VMC machines to manufacture precision parts according to technical drawings. Perform in-process inspection using measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.). Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards throughout the machining process. Perform minor programming and editing on Fanuc/Mitsubishi/Siemens controls (as applicable). Conduct preventive maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting of machines. Maintain daily production logs and ensure timely completion of jobs. Collaborate with the quality and engineering teams for process improvement. Maintain 5S and follow lean manufacturing practices on the shop floor.

Required Qualifications & Skills

:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field. Minimum

5 years experience

in VMC setting and operating. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T. Strong knowledge of CNC codes (G-Code, M-Code) and machining processes. Hands-on experience with various measuring and inspection tools. Knowledge of tooling, tool life, and cutting parameters. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Commitment to quality and attention to detail.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
